- People are so worried, my heart and prayers do go out to the people of Japan, but just as it has been reported, Japanies companies located in the US are stepping up and making the parts that are needed.

- I think that the stock market can have a better affect on the econ-nomy if the stock brokers would settle out and take some chances. The article used the example of a doctor, well some doctors have to chances and suggest some really aggressive treatments, same goes here.

- If you think about it why are these industries getting bailed out by the tax payers? What happens to people that can not pay their debts on time because of either poor planning on their part or whatever the excuse is, they don't get bailed out unless you call declaring bankruptcy a bail out plan? …

- I would have to agree the Congress and the lending companies are all at fault. They knew that it would eventually catch up to them in the long run. They look for excuses to bail them out just like most every other person in their shoes.

- I do agree something must be done, but getting money into the hands of the people will help rebuild the economy. If the gov't was to give a substantial amount to the mid-middle and lower class then it could help alot. These are the one that are suffering the most and really need the extra help.
